What We Do: Community Development
The water filters are something we are hoping people will sponsor individually as water born illnesses are the #1 cause of death in Guatemala.
Right now we are having these water filters built in Guatemala and sent out to home of Widows and their children.
They are really efficient and don't require the family to have running water in their homes (which most do not anyway) It costs about $80 to furnish one of these filters.
