Pamela Leon (Executive Director for PWM)
Pamela Leon was hired as the Executive Director for PWM (Partnership in Women's Ministry) in April 2008. She is a Guatemalan Attorney with a deep passion for the plight of women in Guatemala. We are so thankful for this special woman and her work towards making the shelter a place of safety and healing, handling the legal issues for the women we serve and connecting with Guatemalan churches and organizations.
Karla Bonilla (House Director at El Refugio)
Karla Bonilla was hired in May 2008 to be the House Director at El Refugio. She is an amazing woman with a passion for the Lord and desire to love and comfort those in need. Karla, a survivor of years of domestic violence herself, has three children: Marissa, Ferdanan, and Alberto
Nidia (Christian psychologist)
We are so pleased to have Nidia's expertise in the area of psychology and counseling. She has committed her Monday mornings to individually counseling the women at El Refugio. She also holds weekly group sessions with the ladies. What an important service she provides!
Rosemary (Bible study Leader)
We are blessed to have Rosemary and her friends come weekly to lead Bible study for thewomen who are interested. They pray with our women and mentor them through the many issues with which they are struggling.
Karina Leiva (Children's activities)
We are so happy to have this compassionate young lady! Karina volunteers with the children one afternoon each week encouraging their healing through play, building their academic skills, and being a much needed friend.
Robin Ermacoff (Donations)
Robin, located in Washington State, has volunteered to process donations for us. She has been a huge support since she first joined us in 2007.
